dc.description.abstractThe study was conducted to survey, evaluate the state of cultivation, exploitation and using as well as products from Tacca tuber (Tacca leontopetaloides (L.) Kuntze) which is grown in mountainous areas of Tinh Bien District, An Giang, thereby describing the situation of Tacca harvest and produce flour locally. Survey results show that the harvest period of a Tacca crop is usually longer than 2 months. The harvesting has manipulated manually according to market demand. The flour production is following the local experience on a small scale and people are satisfied with the processing. However, there are some difficulties, particularly people have not exactly defined the profits that they earn yet.vi
